Man Fakes Own Death To Propose Marriage To Girlfriend

The nuptials promise of "till death us do part" got an intriguing twist in the Russian city of Omsk when a woman received an elaborate marriage proposal from her boyfriend, who she thought had just died.

Irena Kolokov was caught off guard when she turned up to meet her boyfriend, Alexey Bykov, 30, but found what appeared to be a horrific car accident when she arrived.

Little did Kolokov know when she arranged to meet Bykov at a pre-determined location in the southwestern Siberian city that she was about to have one of the most horrifying -- and then happiest -- moments of her life.

"We'd arranged to meet at a certain place, but when I arrived there were mangled cars everywhere, ambulances, smoke, and carnage," Kolokov told Orange News.

In a video posted on Russia's Life News, Bykov is seen walking away from the ambulance at the scene. "When I saw Alexey covered in blood lying in the road, a paramedic told me he was dead, and I just broke down in tears," she said.

Horrified, she walked away, sobbing. Meanwhile, Bykov emerged from the ambulance behind her, giggling and holding flowers and a single golden mylar balloon.

His face covered in fake blood and his head wrapped in gauze, Bykov ran up to his love, who was so distraught that when her boyfriend approached her she shoved him off while crying uncontrollably. Even when the sparklers went off in the background, Kolokov still had no clue that she'd been had.

It took some close consoling before she was calm enough for Bykov to get down on bended knee and ask her to be his wife. Luckily for Bykov, once her nerves had settled, Kolokov saw the humor in the prank, and decided to say yes. "I was so cross, I almost killed him again, but for real this time," she said.

Once Kolokov agreed to be his bride, the happy couple got applause from onlookers, and Bykov released the golden balloon into the air.

To stage the entire event, Bykov hired a film director, a script writer, stuntmen, and make-up artists to make his proposal one of the most truly memorable moments of Kolokov's life.

"I wanted her to realize how empty her life would be without me and how life would have no meaning without me. I think it worked," he said. "But I promise it's the last time." The couple was married last week.

Again, Kanye is not happy about the fact that his name was on the internet as one of the reasons the duo fell apart. He insists they get back together if he has to keep working him. He prompted D’Banj to once again try and make up with Don Jazzy.

“Recently D’Banj invited Kanye West to come to Nigeria for the video shoot of “Scape Goat” remix he did with him.He accepted but gave a strict condition that he will come only after he has reconciled with Don Jazzy who must also be in the video.”

According to informed sources, after several attempts by D’Banj, Don Jazzy agreed to appear in the video on a condition that he gets paid for his appearance. As it is now, to reconcile the duo, it will take divine intervention to have such formidable spirit back.

He tweeted, "that been said, 'oya', Wizkid, anyday you don't 'tuale for me', when I see you 'ehnnnnn', I go 'wozzzzzzz (slap)' you 22 slaps. lol."

So, a message for Wizkid, the next time you see Don Jazzy, quickly 'tuale' him before you get 22 slaps from Don Jazzy's flat, broad and soft palms.

P-Square Sets UK On Fire At Afro Beats Concert, Tot'Ham Star, Emmanuel Adebayor Salutes Them

Multiple award-winning entertainers, Peter and Paul Okoye, well known as P-Square, set United Kingdom on fire as their fans stormed out to watch them perform at this year’s Afro Beats Festival held at HMV Apollo on Sunday, 26 August, 2012.

The Okoye twin brothers stormed the concert venue with their 14-man band and performed on stage for two hours, dishing out songs from their repertoire monster cuts, yet left their fans at the capacity-filled venue yearning for more. Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuronye also joined them on stage.

Adebayor described P-Square as the best music export from Nigeria and Africa as a whole, claiming that their stage presence and coordination is second to none.

The high point of the lively performance was when P-Square performed their new single titled Alingo. Though the song was released few weeks ago, it was a sing-along affair among the UK fans. According to what Ghana Celebrities reported, two top Ghanaian celebrities, Yvonne Nelson and Mzbel are at loggerheads with each other over Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince, who may not know that they exist or aware that both ladies are fighting over him after allegedly fathering a child out of wedlock.




It was reported that Mzbel had disclosed to a mutual friend of both celebs about how Yvonne is dying to make Ice Prince notice her and maybe go down low with him. This mutual friend then reportedly told Yvonne about what Mzbel said about Yvonne behind her.

Not happy with the way Mzbel allegedly back-stabbed her, Yvonne was accused of doing what Ruggedman reportedly did to 9ice during their hyped 'fight' by recording her conversation with Mzbel, when she (Mzbel) later reportedly called to apologise for her wrong doing and also explain that the mutual friend had added some spices to exaggerate the real gist to make it look offensive.

The recorded conversation, as reported, was sent out on BlackBerry to some friends by Yvonne, which has reportedly been used as ringtones in Ghana.

It was also reported that Yvonne accused Mzbel of getting jealous of her success and beauty. There have been talks that Yvonne lives with her parents in a rented apartment in Dansoman, Ghana while her over hyped boutique is said to be a cheap 'container shop'.

There are reports that one of the parties has threatened to ruin the career of the other. Will this end here? Maybe when Ice Prince settles the fracas in whatever way he can.
